Ryan Tanis, MSPT, FAFS
Physical Therapist
Ryan completed his master’s degree in physical therapy at Grand Valley State University in 2002 and has worked as an outpatient orthopedic therapist for the last seven years. He also holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in Spanish from Hope College. Prior to joining Shoreline Sport & Spine, he served as manager of an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Holland.
Ryan has a diverse background in therapy and looks at the patient as a whole being instead of just dysfunctional parts. His interventions are targeted at getting to the cause of a patient’s symptoms, so healing can occur, and the symptoms are less likely to return. He has recently completed a fellowship in Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute.
Ryan's coworkers describe him as "compassionate, able to connect with people of all ages, authentic, intuitive, calming, and supportive."
