What's your favorite food?
No specific food is my favorite, but I am a vegetarian so veggie dishes are high on my list. I like eating foods in their natural form. I love salads and try to eat spinach with at least two meals a day. I am at my best when I avoid processed, sugary, and fried foods.


If you knew the world was ending in 2013, what would you do differently? I wouldn't worry about any of the little things we so easily get caught up in: opening mail, organizing the linen closet. I would share gratitude everyday for all I have been blessed with. I would shower my family and friends with (even more) love. I would savor the experience of my favorite activities.

Bruce graduated with an Undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his Graduate Degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. Where did you get your training?
I went to Michigan State University for my undergraduate degree (GO STATE!) and Grand Valley State University for my graduate degree. I completed an orthopedic physical therapy residency when I lived in Seattle.
What is the best and / or worst gift you have ever received?
The best and worst for me is the same thing. My orthodontist gave me braces for EIGHT years but he also gave me a pretty good smile so I guess it’s a wash.
What is the best party you have been to?
I was the best man of my best friend’s wedding. I was in town visiting from the West coast. The entire trip was a great party, right up until the moment I split my tuxedo pants straight down the back during the first dance with the entire wedding party. Glad I wore boxers.
What is the coolest car you have driven?
I never had a chance to drive it myself but being a passenger in my Dad’s 66 Fastback Mustang was pretty cool.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Lead guitarist in a rock band.

WHAT'S THE #1 MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR IPOD?
All weekend long, my husband and I will listen to Kali Rea's new album, Fragments. Kali is a local artist who graduated from GHHS in the same year as my daughter, Amanda, just one year ago. I love to hear and see kids in ourcommunity follow their dreams and excel, whether it be music, painting, or kicking a ball through the uprights.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FORM OF EXERCISE?
I like yoga. I continually incorporate yoga moves into my practice. By expanding new patterns of movement into practice, we can achieve balance, strength and flexibility. And it feels good.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT LIVING IN WEST MICHIGAN?
This is the perfect place to raise a family, it offers plenty of outdoor activities, great people, and a real sense of community.

I never stop learning! As a mom of teenage children, I certainly don't know anything. As a physical therapist, I learn from my fellow therapists who are usually younger than I. and as an ordinary person, I learn from each person I come into contact with.

Renee has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Michigan State University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. Renee has played a key role in the development of the Shoreline Triathlon Club here at S3 and has a passion for multisport training and conditioning of the female athlete. Renee's investment into the Tri Cities and her community focus have made her a great fit the S3 team since her start in 2011.

Patrick completed both his Bachelor's Degree and received his Master's Degree in Athletic Administrationfrom Central Michigan University. He works closely with Grand Haven High School as a certified athletic trainer and helps run S3's Sports Performance Institute, offeringperformance training, weight loss programs, and fitness coaching for athletes and clients from all walks of life.

Marty received his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology from Calvin College and his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. Dave joined S3 in 2009 as a graduate of Grand Valley State University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Dave graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelors Degree in English and worked in various capacities within the media before deciding to pursue a career in physical therapy. Spanish Tapas. I love the variety and it takes me back to the semester I spent studying abroad in Spain.

Pay off all the S3 employee's student loans and then help causes important to me like clean water and world bicycle relief. What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
I remember saving up enough money at my first job (shagging balls at a batting cage/driving range) to buy my first mountain bike, a Giant Yukon.

Prior to joining Shoreline Sport & Spine in 2006, Ryan worked in outpatient settings in Boston, Massachusetts and another in Holland, Michigan. received a Fellow of Applied Functional Science status from the Gray Institute in 2010. She joined the team at Shoreline Sport & Spine in September 2013 and has been working as the receptionist for the location in Holland. Her passions include skiing (as much as she possibly can), any sort of creative outlet, staying active and being outside in nature.
